Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring ARRT and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care setting working in the MRI department
• Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Potential for some off-hours call-ins based on critical need and technologist availability
• Primary equipment used is GE MRI scanning system
• EMR utilized is CPSI (Evident), with Epic and Philips PACS also in use
• Collaboration with radiologists using an integrated PACS platform
• Role may involve independently performing MRI procedures during regular and occasional off-hours
• Small department environment where adherence to stated schedule is critical for coverage
• On-the-job training provided for integration with facility-specific PACS platform

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must be licensed in MRI
• Experience with GE MRI scanning systems preferred
• Ability to work independently
• License required if applicable
