Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical position requiring an IA or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital setting on the 5 South Medical Surgical unit
Shifts are 12 hours from 07:00 to 19:30
13-week contract assignment
Every other holiday rotation required
Weekend shifts required with potential makeup shifts for call-ins or RTO overlapping scheduled weekends
Blackout dates for requested time off are mid-November through mid-January and such requests during this time may be denied
Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
Verification of license via NURSYS must be dated within 30 days of assignment start
COVID vaccination card may be requested for consideration
Local pay rates only apply in select states

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred or required per unit policy
