Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry position in a subintensive medical unit, requiring a current AL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital subintensive medical unit (MS/Tele)
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Orientation hours are included at the start of the contract
Uses Meditech EMR; prior experience preferred but not required
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no mileage restrictions
Competency-based modules are included in virtual orientation, no HealthStream modules required prior to start
ICU and ED nurses are required to take an onsite test and an online pre-test
A cardiac exam link will be provided and must be completed within the required timeframe after offer acceptance

Requirements

Active AL or compact RN license with no restrictions or hits
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
At least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty area (Med/Surg Telemetry)
No pending or temporary licenses will be considered
Timekeeping in Centricity system
