Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of PET/CT experience for a weekday role with no weekends or call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in a nuclear medicine department primarily focusing on PET/CT scans
• This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call duties required
• May float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Candidates must be available to submit core documents and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure on-time start
• Holiday coverage is required according to assignment period—expect to work one or more major holidays based on contract dates
• Perm or PRN staff must be away from all related facilities for one full year to return as traveler
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off (RTO) allowed, with RTO required at time of application
• No holiday RTO granted if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment; if three, one holiday RTO may be reviewed
• Travel pairs are not permitted to be assigned to the same shift and unit
• Modules must be completed during orientation and are non-billable
• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of PET/CT experience required
• GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration, if applicable
• Two supervisory references highly preferred; must be manager level or above
• First-time travelers are accepted
