Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for night shifts with at least 1 year of radiology experience and current ARRT and SC state licensure.

Responsibilities

Work in a robust hospital radiology department
Night shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Perform general radiographic examinations on a diverse patient population
Operation of all standard radiographic equipment
13-week contract assignment
Responsible for patient positioning, performing radiographic exams, and ensuring quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
Must ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies
Expected to uphold customer service excellence standards with patients, visitors, and staff
Ongoing professional development through in-services and continuing education is encouraged
Compliance with all health system policies is required

Requirements

Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
Current ARRT or NMTCB certification within 12 months of program completion
Active South Carolina License required if applicable
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
