Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Home Health Physical Therapist for elderly patient care, requiring NJ licensure and BLS certification.

Details

• Home health setting providing care to elderly patients in Mercer County and North Burlington County
• This role is part of the PACE-LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly) program
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call or weekend shifts required
• Regular home visits are required for patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Valid NJ Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience with adult and geriatric populations
• Experience in home health and senior care is essential
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills are required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Frequent standing, walking, and driving required
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., bend, and reach
• Experience in pelvic floor therapy preferred
• Training in Herman & Wallace Level 1A or equivalent preferred
