Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least 3 years of recent MS experience and active NH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults requiring medical-surgical care
• EPIC EMR system is used and prior experience is required
• Previous travel experience of at least 6 months is required
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for commute
• Holiday coverage required for either Christmas or New Year's and the following weekend
• Block scheduling will not be considered
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to offer, with a limit of up to 5 days off
• Must be prepared to work one designated major winter holiday and the associated weekend
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment
• Own reliable transportation is necessary due to commuting requirements
• Perm address must be provided for eligibility

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Minimum 3 years current med/surg nursing experience required
• At least 6 months prior travel RN experience required
• Tele/Progressive Care experience is highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required
• One professional reference required for consideration
