Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and RCIS or ARRT and CA license required.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital cath lab setting
• Performs procedures including coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemaker insertions, and peripheral aortograms
• Works with a combination of scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring roles
• Schedules available as 4x10 hour shifts or 3x12 hour day shifts
• Call requirement is 8-12 call shifts per month plus one weekend of call per month
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Patient population includes adult cardiac patients
• Complete e-learning modules during orientation, with hours varying by specialty
• Only one holiday time off request will be approved during the contract
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract acceptance
• References from two supervisors within the past two years are required for consideration
• Work involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary cath lab team
• Participation in call rotation is required

Requirements

• RCIS certification or ARRT with valid CA license required
• Minimum of 2 years cath lab experience required
• Must be able to scrub, circulate, and monitor interventional procedures
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Returning travelers must have been gone for at least 1 year
