Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and a current Rad Tech license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a cardiac catheterization lab working with adult cardiac cases
• Responsibilities include Cath Lab scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for heart caths, pacemaker procedures, STEMI calls, and balloon pump interventions
• Schedule options include 4x10 hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM or 8:45 AM – 7:15 PM) or 3x12s as arranged
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• 50 mile radius rule applies for travel pay rates
• Locals are accepted at a local rate
• Duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in a cardiac catheterization environment
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of accepting offer
• Modules are completed during orientation and recorded via e-learning
• Return staff/travelers must have been gone for at least one year before reapplying
• Only one holiday is approved for time off
• Background and DUI history must be disclosed prior to consideration

Requirements

• Active California Rad Tech license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab technologist experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must provide two supervisor references obtained within the past year
