Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for night shifts, requiring ARRT (MR) certification and a current or in-process state radiology license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital MRI department
• Night shifts available as 3x12s or 4x10s, primarily Thursday through Saturday
• May float to different units as needed
• Adult patient population
• Epic EMR is used; experience is preferred but not required
• Not accepting first-time travelers unless strong experience is demonstrated
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible
• Scrubs of any color permitted
• No call requirements
• Candidates must submit all time-off requests prior to signing
• Return staff must have a minimum one-year break from previous employment in the system
• Holiday coverage may be required depending on unit needs
• Travelers with more than one DUI will not be considered
• No onboarding modules required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent MRI technologist experience
• Active ARRT (MR) certification and BLS required
• State radiology license required; proof of application accepted if not in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• At least two references from the last two years, with one from a supervisor
