Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist RCIS to support cardiac, vascular, and neuro interventional procedures with call responsibilities in a Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab supporting cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology cases
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Handles both inpatients and outpatients for various procedures
• Tech serves as first assist to physicians and needs to work independently
• On-call responsibilities are required, with a minimum of 15 call shifts during the assignment
• Duties include scrubbing, monitoring procedures, assisting with admission, recovery, and discharge of patients
• Responsible for scheduling procedures for both inpatients and outpatients
• Team members are expected to provide first assist support in the lab
• Training and documentation for workplace violence prevention will be provided
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• NJ ARRT license highly prioritized; license required if applicable
• Experience in CCL, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology procedures is required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Must be able to manage access sites, symptom management, and sheath removal
