Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift pediatric-focused assignment requiring ARRT certification and Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital MRI department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Primary patient population is pediatric, including neonates, but also includes adults, stroke, and trauma cases
• Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment, operating 1.5T and 3T magnets
• Four 10-hour night shifts per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Role will include floating to qualified units or campuses as required by facility staffing needs
• 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR system required
• Role involves conducting a high volume of pediatric MRI procedures
• Must be comfortable providing MRI scans for diverse ages, including neonates and pediatric critical care cases
• Orientation will be provided, with module training required pre-assignment
• Up to 16 hours for pre-assignment modules is reimbursable upon contract start
• Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; 100+ miles preferred for full pay rate
• Expect collaborative team environment focused on pediatric care
• Compliance with facility floating policy for qualified allied health professionals

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required (ARMRIT not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as an MRI Technologist
• Strong pediatric MRI experience required; prior Children's Hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in scanning pediatric, neonatal, stroke, and trauma patients
• Experience with both GE and Siemens MRI scanners
• License required if applicable
