Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with credentialing from CCI or ARDMS and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiology/echo department performing diagnostic cardiac echocardiology procedures
• Day shift position with five 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM
• May include on-call responsibilities as needed
• Duties may involve working in additional cardiovascular modalities based on department needs
• Role involves independent operation of ultrasound equipment using proper techniques and protocols
• Responsible for coordinating patient flow and activities within the Cardiopulmonary Department
• Expected to maintain all equipment in good working condition and exercise professional judgment
• Local radiology candidates will be considered with a 50-mile radius rule

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a focus on Ultrasound/Sonography required
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required
• CPR certification required
• License required if applicable
