Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a medical-surgical float pool position with night shifts and at least one year of recent specialty experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital float pool covering medical-surgical and observation units
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating is required to various acute care units based on facility needs
• 13-week seasonal contract assignment
• Responsibilities include providing nursing care for diverse patient populations across multiple units
• Orientation is provided for floating to new units as needed
• Assignment is seasonal and intended for a set duration
• Required documentation must be current at time of consideration

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration; Canadian SSNs are not accepted
