Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical Telemetry position in a nursing float pool, requiring a current MA RN license and compliance with a 50-mile radius rule.

Responsibilities

Work in the nursing float pool covering Medical-Surgical Telemetry units
12-hour day shifts are required
Float between different units as assigned
Assignment duration is 4 weeks
All previous employees (Travel, Perm, Per Diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any facility within the same health system
Medical exemption is considered for vaccine requirements
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

Active MA RN license in hand is required
Must have current certifications as required for the role
Minimum distance of 50 miles from the facility is required; no local candidates allowed
Must comply with required vaccinations including COVID-19 (with booster) and Flu, unless medically exempt
Passing Tele/ECG and medication tests may be required
