Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a day shift position in California requiring a CA RN license and current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU unit of a hospital setting
• Day shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule from 7:00 to 19:30
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Online modules must be completed during orientation, with hours varying by specialty
• Only one holiday off will be approved during the contract
• Return staff must have been gone for at least one year to be eligible as a traveler
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate; locals are accepted at a different rate

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS, all from AHA or American Red Cross
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
• Must provide 2 professional references obtained within the last year
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
