Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Recovery position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in an outpatient surgery recovery (PACU) unit within a hospital setting
Night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am with 12-hour shifts three times per week
13-week contract assignment
No on-call responsibilities
No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
Must be willing to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the contract
Returning perm staff may apply as travelers only after a 2-year break
First-time travelers accepted
All requested time off must be declared up front; additional RTO after offer will not be considered

Requirements

Active GA or compact state RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of PACU or recovery nursing experience required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
