Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Recovery position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an outpatient surgery recovery (PACU) unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am with 12-hour shifts three times per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Must be willing to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the contract
- Returning perm staff may apply as travelers only after a 2-year break
- First-time travelers accepted
- All requested time off must be declared up front; additional RTO after offer will not be considered
Requirements
- Active GA or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of PACU or recovery nursing experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
