Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring WI or compact RN license and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Work schedule is 4x12 hour night shifts, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• Cares for Med/Surg patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Floating not specified
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• RN duties include telemetry monitoring and documentation in Epic EMR
• Modules must be completed during orientation
• Return staff must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Latex allergies cannot be accommodated at this facility
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Locals are accepted at a lower bill rate if residing within 50 miles

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Ability to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required prior to interview
• 2 supervisor references from within the last year, including one from most recent assignment, are required for consideration
