Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist skilled in neuro and vascular procedures, holding current AHA BLS, CRT, and ARRT Rad Fluoro permits.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interventional radiology unit with both neuro and vascular cases
• Day shifts with a 4x10 hour schedule, 6:45 AM to 4:30 PM
• Call required approximately 3-7 days per month
• EPIC EMR experience required for the last 6 months
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating for neuro and vascular interventional radiology procedures
• Must agree to call requirements as part of contract terms
• Return staff and travelers must have a 1 year break before reapplying
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days with no new requests accepted after submittal

Requirements

• Valid AHA BLS, CRT, and ARRT Rad Fluoro permit required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in Interventional Radiology with no unrelated breaks
• At least 1 year of total travel experience, including 6+ months of recent continuous travel experience with no significant employment gaps
• Neuro and vascular scrub and circulate skills required
• Experience with neuro and vascular interventional procedures
• Recent EPIC or EPIC/Cerner charting experience required
• Reference from a supervisory-level professional required
• Not eligible if residing within 100 miles or considered local due to recent assignments in San Diego
• License required if applicable
