Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Massachusetts requiring a MA RN license and weekend/holiday rotations.

Responsibilities

Position is for the Med/Surg Telemetry unit with floating required within MS Tele units
Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1:5 to 1:6, with occasional 1:7
The schedule includes a 48-hour work week option
Required to work every other weekend and alternating holidays
Uses Cerner EMR, with prior Cerner experience preferred
Responsibilities include caring for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Holiday and weekend rotation is required for all staff
May be required to float within Med/Surg Telemetry units depending on staffing needs

Requirements

Active MA RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience required
Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
ACLS certification preferred
Cerner EMR experience preferred
