Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) position in Washington with a current WA or compact RN license and a strong background in all aspects of LDRP care.

Responsibilities

• Work in an LDRP unit providing comprehensive care from labor through postpartum and nursery
• Night shifts from 1845 to 0715 on a 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week with the option to pick up extra shifts
• Patient assignments include labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery cases
• Meditech EMR experience is helpful but not required
• Responsible for providing patient care throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery phases
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirements specified
• Locals are accepted unless otherwise noted
• RTO must be approved and added to the end of the contract

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of LDRP nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
• Completion of a 6-hour suicide training if holding a compact license
• Knowledge of labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery best practices
• Scrub experience is a plus but not required
• STABLE training preferred but not required
