Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a flexible Emergency Department and Med-Surg position requiring ED experience and an IA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in both the Emergency Department and Med-Surg units within a hospital setting
Scheduled shifts include Sunday day and Thursday night in the ED, with an additional rotating Med-Surg night or day shift determined every 6 weeks
Med-Surg shifts may fall on weekdays, weeknights, or Saturdays depending on departmental needs
Schedule changes on a 6-week basis to accommodate unit requirements
Candidates must have strong ED experience and/or a robust EMS background
Responsibilities include providing care in both ED and Med-Surg environments
Flexibility is required due to rotating and dynamic scheduling
Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members is expected

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in emergency or EMS settings
Current CPR certification required
Additional specialty certifications may be required based on assignment
Verification of active licensure and certifications are required for consideration
