Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU travel position on a day shift in Arkansas requiring an active AR or compact RN license and ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Care for critically ill adult patients in an ICU setting
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
• Patient population consists of adults requiring intensive medical care
• Time off up to 5 days may be requested but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility will have restrictions on consecutive contracts and adjusted pay rates
• After three consecutive 13-week contracts, local candidates must separate from the facility for at least one year or work at another location outside the 50-mile radius
• Role involves collaborating with the ICU team to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• No employment gaps greater than 90 days within the past 12 months
• All required certifications must be active for the duration of the assignment or renewal must be scheduled
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• Must submit work history and required documentation for consideration
