Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with day shifts, requiring a VT or compact license and strong postpartum and nursery experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Unit within a critical access hospital
• Patient population includes laboring women, postpartum mothers, and newborns
• Day shift schedule
• Flexibility required to float to other units as needed and assist with overflow from Progressive Care Unit
• Attendance at quarterly department education sessions is mandatory for agency professionals
• First time travelers will be considered
• Teamwork within a small, critical access hospital setting
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement is listed

Requirements

• Active RN license from VT or compact state required
• Minimum of 5 years recent RN experience in Labor & Delivery or related specialties
• Certifications required: BLS/BCLS, PALS, and NRP
• Experience in postpartum and nursery nursing required
