Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join the Med/Surg Float Pool in Hawaii, with a current HI RN license and hospital float experience.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based float pool assignment covering two medical surgical/telemetry units
• Care for adult and pediatric medicine-surgical patients, as well as telemetry cases
• May provide care for medical-surgical overflow in ICU and Emergency Department
• 12-hour shifts with a schedule of 72 hours every two weeks
• Requires floating between units as needed
• Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required
• Responsibilities include providing care to a diverse patient population and supporting multiple units as needed
• Candidates must be comfortable with flexibility and adapting to various clinical environments
• Reference checks will be conducted via email

Requirements

• Active HI RN license
• Minimum 3 years of relevant RN experience
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Additional related certifications such as CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, NIHSS, STABLE, ASLS, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, RMA, or C-EFM are preferred
