Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Ohio, requiring EPIC proficiency and 2 years of L&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift position with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record system is required
• May be required to float to other units as needed
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
• No RTO is permitted from 2/15/26 through 2/28/26
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as per unit needs
• Former employees may be considered if they have not worked at the facility for at least 6 months
• Current employees are not eligible for travel assignments at this location
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Certification in either NCC C-EFM or AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring is required
• Proficiency in IV starts and general Labor and Delivery nursing skills
• Experience with the EPIC EMR system is required
• Two professional references required, at least one from a manager or formal leader
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
