Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and active OH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Possible floating to other units as needed
• Utilizes Epic EMR, prior Epic experience required
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Must be available for assigned shifts with no time off allowed between 2/15/26 and 2/28/26
• Responsibilities include providing RN care for laboring and delivering patients and initiating IV therapy
• All candidates must complete an urgent fingerprinting process for compliance
• Candidates residing outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an in-state fingerprinting location promptly; distant candidates will receive a fingerprinting packet by mail
• Former employees are eligible if separated for 6 months or longer; current employees are ineligible for travel positions at this system
• Time off requests must be submitted during the application process

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• C-EFM or AWHONN Advanced certification required (NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced)
• IV start skills and direct L&D experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• At least 2 professional references required, including one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
