Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU night shift position requiring a GA or compact license and a minimum of 18 months recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract assignment
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates permitted
• Previous employees must be separated from Emory or Houston systems for one year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility, before being eligible for consideration
• Requests for time off (RTO) are limited to 5 days if not near holidays and 3 days if during or near a holiday; only one holiday RTO request is allowed
• Multiple days of RTO during holiday periods are not approved and must be spread out

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent ICU nursing experience
