Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in Ohio, requiring an OH or compact RN license and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• May be required to float to other units
• Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Fingerprinting for Ohio is required and must be completed promptly after contract signing
• Travelers may need to drive to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet depending on location
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at time of contract submission
• Previous travel experience is preferred but not required
• Former employees eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months; current employees are not eligible
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Proficiency in starting IVs and all aspects of L&D nursing
• Prior Epic EMR experience required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required, one from a manager/director or formal leader
