Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of Siemens MRI experience and ARRT (MR), AHA BLS credentials for an evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital radiology department on the MRI unit
• Handles routine neuro, body, and MSK MRI exams using Siemens scanners including Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto
• No cardiac MRI exams are required
• Evening shift schedule Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• No weekends, no call, and no holiday coverage required
• Flexible contract length from 13 to 26 weeks
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• PBDS Assessment is waived; ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing will be completed during orientation
• Assignments at any single facility location are limited to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning
• Dress code or scrubs policy is not specified
• All time off requests must be discussed during the interview
• Permanent staff cannot return to the facility for at least one year after their previous end date

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required
• Experience with all Siemens MRI scanners is required
• ARRT (MR) and AHA BLS certifications required
• Ohio license required (permanent or compact, as applicable)
• License required if applicable
• Two supervisory references in MRI from within the past 12 months are required for consideration
• Must be nicotine-free with a negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen within 12 months of start
• Active certifications only; no pending credentials will be accepted
• Open background check cases are not accepted
