Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) day shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PCU/medical-surgical unit on floor 2 of a hospital
• Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00
• This is a 13-week contract assignment
• No local travelers allowed within a 50-mile radius
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled
• Drivers license must be valid throughout the assignment
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the US with a valid SSN
• No Canadian SIN accepted

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU or relevant specialty experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the past 2 years
