Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with bone density and fluoroscopic pain injection experience for a rotating-shift diagnostic imaging position.
Responsibilities
- Work in a diagnostic radiology department providing imaging support for pain treatment procedures
- Responsibilities include assisting pain physicians with fluoroscopic imaging of the spine and other joints
- Set up and break down kits and medications for pain injection cases
- Experience with C-arms and bone density imaging required
- 10-hour rotating shifts
- Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility; no local travelers accepted
- Previous employees must have a six-month break before returning
- Weekly orientation provided, starting every Monday except holidays
- COVID-19 vaccine with booster and seasonal flu vaccine required; medical exemptions allowed
- Testing for Tele/ECG and medication administration required, if assigned to certain campuses
- Parking fees can be up to $43 per day
Requirements
- Vocational or technical training in Medical Radiography required
- MA Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- Active registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience required
- Advanced technical computer skills necessary for imaging and documentation
- Bone density and C-arm experience must be reflected in work history
