Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of recent trauma center experience for night shifts at a major Level I trauma facility.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level I trauma center providing MRI services
• Night shift schedule consists of 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00 on either Thursday to Saturday or Saturday to Monday
• Short-term acute care setting with a large, diverse patient population
• Epic EMR is used, and prior experience is preferred
• Weekend shifts are required
• No local candidates accepted if living within 75 miles of the facility
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Royal blue scrubs are required
• Pre-employment modules must be completed before starting
• RTO exceeding 7 days requires facility approval
• Travelers may be required to participate in emergency or disaster response activities
• Parking is available for $125 per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required, preferably in a trauma center at a large facility
• Pending state license accepted; license required if applicable
• Reference from a recent position is required
• Flu vaccine is required with no declinations accepted
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless exempt for religious or medical reasons
• Must not have worked at the facility in the last 2 years as permanent staff to be eligible as a traveler
