Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (Obstetrics) night shift position in Wyoming, requiring a WY or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years recent OB experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Obstetrics (OB) department within a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Typical assignment length is 13 weeks
- Patient population includes laboring mothers, postpartum, and newborn care
- May be required to float within a 25-mile radius as needed
- Responsible for comprehensive care of mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery
- Electronic timekeeping system must be used to clock in and out
- Local candidates within 50 miles are subject to a different pay rate
- Compliance with hospital policy regarding previous employment status is required
- Holiday and weekend shifts may be required based on department needs
Requirements
- Active WY or compact state RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in labor & delivery/OB
- Certifications required: current BLS and ACLS (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
- All certifications must be valid for the duration of the assignment
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Full US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Cannot be currently working permanent staff at any location
