Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a day shift travel assignment in Virginia with two years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
  • Day shifts from 7:00AM to 7:00PM
  • Typical 13-week assignment duration
  • Patient care in a general medical-surgical environment
  • Must provide U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth as part of the onboarding process
  • Required documentation includes nursing license verification and copies of certifications
  • References and skills checklist required for consideration
  • No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted

Requirements

  • Active VA or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC, valid for the first 30 days of assignment
  • No employment gaps exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
