Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Virginia requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg unit (6F)
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Adult medical-surgical patient population
• Provide comprehensive care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Must submit references, skills checklist, and verification of licensure for consideration

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required and must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Submission requires valid US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSNs) and date of birth
