Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position on an ortho/neuro overflow unit requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital environment on the 3 East Ortho/Overflow Neuro medical-surgical unit
Patient population includes orthopedic and neurological overflow cases
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week assignment duration
Provide nursing care to orthopedic and neuro overflow patients as part of a collaborative team
Working dress code and additional information to be provided upon offer
Assignment is open to candidates meeting licensure and experience requirements

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Minimum of one year recent experience in a Med/Surg setting
Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
