Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position, requiring 18 months of recent specialty experience and an active FL or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Cath Lab setting
• Involves interventional and structural cardiology procedures
• Day shift with 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Performs interventional and structural procedures in a Cath Lab environment
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for one year after their last assignment
• Modules must be completed pre-start and annually as required by the facility
• Extensions are permitted up to 18 months with a mandatory six-month break afterwards unless otherwise approved

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 18 months of permanent recent Cath Lab experience required
• Current certifications must be active with nothing pending
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the Cath Lab specialty required, dated within the last 12 months
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation and achieve an acceptable score within two attempts
• Negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually
• BCI/FBI background fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• No open background cases or license hits accepted
