Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a CO or compact RN license and EPIC charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the ICU unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts consist of 12-hour shifts, three days per week
• May require floating to other departments within competency and qualifications
• On-call may be required during scheduled shifts
• Uses EPIC for electronic medical records; prior experience required
• Perform independent and delegated nursing functions following professional standards and protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate critical care nursing interventions for ICU patients
• Contribute to health teaching, counseling, and therapy for patients and families
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• May support, consult, or supervise others as needed on the unit

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required and must be in hand prior to consideration
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required, BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be valid through assignment
• EPIC charting experience required
