Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT certification and at least 2 years of experience for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a medical office environment
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 1:1 patient-to-technologist ratio
• Procedures include C-Arm, fluoroscopy-guided interventions such as epidural steroid injections, modified barium swallows, radiofrequency ablations, and diagnostic x-ray
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Responsibilities include conducting a variety of diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures
• Must be comfortable working independently in a medical office setting
• Modules and orientation will be required and must be completed prior to start
• No more than 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during first two weeks
• Candidates returning as travelers must not have worked at this facility in the past year
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate
• Scrubs or dress code will be discussed during orientation
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiology or X-Ray Technologist
• Active ARRT (R) required
• BLS, ACLS, and Fluoro Permit preferred
• Experience performing C-Arm and fluoroscopy-guided procedures required
• State license required if applicable
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required
