Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT certification and at least 2 years of experience for a day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position based in a medical office environment
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 1:1 patient-to-technologist ratio
- Procedures include C-Arm, fluoroscopy-guided interventions such as epidural steroid injections, modified barium swallows, radiofrequency ablations, and diagnostic x-ray
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Responsibilities include conducting a variety of diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures
- Must be comfortable working independently in a medical office setting
- Modules and orientation will be required and must be completed prior to start
- No more than 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during first two weeks
- Candidates returning as travelers must not have worked at this facility in the past year
- Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate
- Scrubs or dress code will be discussed during orientation
- First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiology or X-Ray Technologist
- Active ARRT (R) required
- BLS, ACLS, and Fluoro Permit preferred
- Experience performing C-Arm and fluoroscopy-guided procedures required
- State license required if applicable
- Two supervisor references required
- Flu vaccine required
