Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with telemetry skills for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring Cardizem and Amiodarone drip experience.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with mixed acuity levels, including stepdown care
• 39-bed facility with primarily elderly patients, minimum age 18
• RN patient ratios are 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity
• 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
• Care may include telemetry monitoring and management of Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
• No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Responsibilities include managing a mixed-acuity patient population and coordinating care for complex cases
• Holiday coverage is rotated among staff

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license with proof of state residency
• Minimum 1.5 years recent equivalent Med/Surg experience
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years
• Experience with telemetry and administration of Cardizem and Amiodarone drips required
• Current BLS certification
