Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit day shift position requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and an active AL or Compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a general Medical/Surgical unit on Floor 6 of a hospital setting
Day shift schedule from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm
13-week contract assignment
Care for diverse adult med/surg patient populations
Time off requests (RTO) must be less than one week
US Social Security Number is required for consideration; Canadian SINs are not accepted
Must provide valid Driver’s License and complete profile documentation
No first-time travelers restrictions are specified

Requirements

Active AL or Compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience required
No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
Must not have gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Candidates must not have been employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the past 2 years
Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted
