Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
• Every other weekend work is required
• Epic charting experience is preferred
• Orientation includes required e-learning modules completed on site
• Modules are required during orientation and vary by specialty
• Only one holiday request off will be approved during the contract
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; locals are accepted at a different pay rate
• Former staff must have a one-year gap since prior employment to return as a traveler

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience required
• Must provide two recent supervisor references
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of accepting the position
