Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an inpatient rehab position requiring a WI or compact RN license and medical surgical or rehab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 12-bed inpatient rehab unit within a hospital setting
• Primary patient populations include stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac cases
• Patient ratios are 1:4-1:6 on PM shift and 1:8 on nights
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• 12-hour variable shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Epic charting preferred
• Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Scrub colors are flexible; any color is acceptable
• Travelers must be hard working, resilient, able to manage change, and socially confident
• Holiday rotation is required
• Set weekly hours are guaranteed except during holidays or orientation week when the unit may be closed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting required
• Medical surgical or rehab experience preferred
• Rehab knowledge required
