Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARDMS and BLS certifications for a 14-week day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an imaging department specializing in ultrasound procedures
- 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- No on-call requirement
- 14-week contract assignment
- Patient caseload and equipment specifics not provided
- Must work at least 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the assignment
- RTO (requested time off) must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after offer
- Compliance with full credentialing is expected prior to start
- First-time travelers considered if all requirements are met
- Badge photo required upon offer acceptance
- Holiday coverage is required per facility policy
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years ultrasound experience within the specialty
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ARDMS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Returning staff must have a 2-year break before being eligible as a traveler
