Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Infusion Center position with Chemotherapy certification and Cerner experience required.

Responsibilities

Position is based in a large outpatient Infusion Center with 65 chairs
Provides intravenous treatments to a diverse oncology and bone marrow transplant patient population
Day shift schedule from 6:45am to 7:00pm, varying days
Work week consists of three 12-hour shifts
No on-call responsibility
Uses Cerner EMR system
Must work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the contract
Returning staff must have a 2-year break from previous permanent employment at this facility before applying as a traveler
Time off requests must be submitted up front and cannot be added after offer
Scrubs or dress code requirements were not specified

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in Oncology nursing
BLS certification required
Chemotherapy certification required
Experience with oncology and bone marrow transplant patient care
Must have Cerner EMR experience
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
