Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist experienced in advanced breast ultrasound for a day shift assignment requiring ARDMS and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a breast care imaging unit specializing in advanced breast ultrasound procedures
13-week contract with an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday schedule
No on-call or weekend shifts are required
Patient population primarily consists of individuals requiring specialized breast ultrasound imaging
Assignment does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
Must be able to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during assignment
Returning permanent staff are eligible only after a 2-year break and must meet the non-local requirement
RTO must be requested at the time of submission; time-off requests after offer will not be accepted
Scrubs or dress code requirements are not specified

Requirements

Current ARDMS certification is required
Current BLS certification is required
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in breast ultrasound is required
Experience with advanced breast ultrasound techniques is mandatory
License required if applicable
