Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist experienced in advanced breast ultrasound for a day shift assignment requiring ARDMS and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a breast care imaging unit specializing in advanced breast ultrasound procedures
- 13-week contract with an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday schedule
- No on-call or weekend shifts are required
- Patient population primarily consists of individuals requiring specialized breast ultrasound imaging
- Assignment does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
- Must be able to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during assignment
- Returning permanent staff are eligible only after a 2-year break and must meet the non-local requirement
- RTO must be requested at the time of submission; time-off requests after offer will not be accepted
- Scrubs or dress code requirements are not specified
Requirements
- Current ARDMS certification is required
- Current BLS certification is required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in breast ultrasound is required
- Experience with advanced breast ultrasound techniques is mandatory
- License required if applicable
