Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital, with experience in inpatient and outpatient MRI and Siemens equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level 1 trauma, inpatient, outpatient, and ER setting with a focus on MRI
• Primary responsibility is MRI coverage in a 3-room department with 35-40 cases per day
• Will assist the CT department when MRI exams are not scheduled
• Handles STAT and urgent cases and participates in some on-call coverage for STAT orders
• Rotating holiday shifts are required
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment and Epic for documentation (Epic experience preferred)
• 3x12 hour evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Primary duties include performing MRI scans, handling STAT cases, and assisting CT as needed
• Professional references must be from supervisors or those in leadership roles
• Must be able to promptly complete fingerprinting in Ohio or via expedited mail, per urgent credentialing process
• Vacation or time-off requests must be submitted with your application

Requirements

• ARRT and BLS certification required
• ODH license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 professional references are required, one from a manager or supervisor
• Experience with IV starts, EKGs, PACS, and contrast administration required
• Experience performing MRI on abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, post-processing, MIP, MPR, perfusion, spin echo, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images
• Experience working with both inpatient and outpatient MRI settings preferred
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
