Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU with a requirement for an active OH or compact RN license and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU)
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 19:00 to 7:30
• May float to NICU, PICU, Emergency Department, stepdown, and medical-surgical units as needed
• Floating to multiple units is required and assignments will be appropriate for each specific area
• No on-call requirements
• Responsibilities include delivering critical care to pediatric cardiovascular patients
• Must be prepared and willing to float to related pediatric and critical care units as needed
• No call or on-call requirements
• Strict punctuality policy applies
• No first-time travelers mentioned; previous travelers must follow rehire rules

Requirements

• Active OH State or Compact RN license in hand
• Preference for candidates with close to 2 years of relevant experience
• Two supervisory references required, with at least one from a supervisor or manager
• Cannot have worked as a permanent employee for the health system in the past 2 years
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are not eligible
