Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment requiring at least 1 year of home health experience and an active state license.

Responsibilities

Home health setting providing care to adult patients aged 18 and older
Daily patient load averages 4-6 visits per day with a minimum of 24-30 visits per week
Primary territory is Fredericksburg, with 1-2 days per week in the Falls Church area as discussed in the interview
13-week contract with a Monday through Friday, day shift schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
No required weekends or on-call shifts
Uses Kinnser/Wellsky for charting, which must be completed in the clinic on a provided tablet
Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate from first to last patient
Main responsibilities include providing patient-centered care in client homes and timely completion of clinical documentation
Strong communication, punctuality, and a friendly, self-starter attitude are highly valued
Tablet provided for charting duties to be completed on-site
First-time travelers are accepted for this position
Free residential parking is available
All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of application; additional time off requests after offer will not be accepted

Requirements

Current state Physical Therapist license required in hand at time of consideration
BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of home health experience required
OASIS experience preferred but not required
No hits on professional license
Business casual dress with closed toe shoes required
Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 declination allowed
All required compliance documents must be completed before starting
Locals within a 50-mile radius are accepted
